Why do I have to use PayPal or Amazon Pay to make a purchase?

The long answer has to do with the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Virgin Islands and something called the Insular Cases - you can read more here.

The short answer is we live in the U.S. Virgin Islands and there are laws and regulations that do not allow for Credit Card transactions to be processed online for the U.S. Virgin Islands at this time. So we utilize the very secure and safe payment systems of PayPal and Amazon Pay. 

Why does it take so long to get my purchase?

Bard's Bytes uses various companies to produce your item of choice on demand. That means you get exactly what you want and it is created when you order. Bard's Bytes does not keep an inventory in a warehouse getting musty and dusty, our products are put into production the moment you make your purchase. Your order is then shipped to you in the most economical and speedy way available.

What is your return policy?

Thank you for being a Bard’s Bytes customer! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns/exchanges 30 days from date of receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your item was received, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange. The item(s) must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received. It must also be in the original packaging.

What items are eligible for return/exchange?

- Item(s) must be in original condition:
        ~ Apparel unwashed/unworn with tags on
        ~ Jewelry in original packaging
        ~ Home & Living items in original packaging
- Final sale items are not eligible for return.
- International orders are final and are not eligible for return.

Are there any charges for return/exchanges?

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

How do I return/exchange an item?

Complete the form on the Returns page and begin the process by filling in all required information.

What do I do if my item is damaged?

In the case of damaged or incorrect items received, items will be replaced if within 30 days of purchase. Please complete a return form and follow the procedure.

How soon will I get my refund/exchange?

Once your item is received and inspected, you will receive an email to confirm receipt of your returned item. You will also receive notice of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange. In cases of exchange, you will receive a confirmation email with new order information. Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to be processed. Refunds will automatically be applied to the original method of payment.
